Tanya and Jimmy were the oldest and the children of Toby's first wife, Bobbye Townsend. Joyce, Jill and Jeff were children of Toby's second wife, Pat Mallory. The last three were children of Toby and Sandy's marriage, and Daniel was adopted by them both from Elsmere, Kentucky in 1970. The younger 7 lived with Toby and Sandy in Chelsea, Michigan.
